Do I need a medical card to buy cannabis at Bloom?
No. Ohio and Maryland both run a recreational program alongside the medical one, and every Bloom is licensed for both. Anyone 21 or older with a valid government-issued photo ID can buy from the recreational menu. Registered patients shop the patient menu and get patient pricing at the same counter.
What ID do I need to bring?
A valid, unexpired government-issued photo ID — a driver's license, state ID or passport. Registered patients should bring their patient card as well as their ID. We check it at the door and again at the register.
How much can I buy in one visit?
It depends on the state and on whether you're a patient. In Ohio, recreational customers can buy up to 2.5 ounces of flower and up to 15,000 mg of total THC across all other products each day. Registered Ohio patients buy against a 90-day supply, split into two 45-day fill periods, and can take home up to 10 ounces of flower and 60,000 mg of total THC from a single visit, unless their physician has set a lower limit. In Maryland, recreational customers can buy up to 1.5 ounces of flower, 12 grams of concentrate, or products containing up to 750 mg of THC per transaction. Maryland patients buy against a 30-day supply set by their provider, typically 120 grams of flower or 36 grams of THC. Our menus and registers stop you before you go over the limit.
Can I order ahead for pickup?
Yes, and it is the fastest way through. Place the order on your store's menu, wait for the confirmation, then check in at the front desk with your ID. Bloom does not offer delivery in any market — pickup and pre-order only.
What payment methods do you take?
Cash, debit and Aeropay, at every location. There are ATMs in the lobby too. Totals are rounded to the nearest nickel.
What is the difference between the medical and recreational menus?
They are separate menus with separate pricing, purchase limits and tax treatment, set by state program rules. Registered patients can shop either one. The state pages spell out what changes between them.
What is Grab & Go?
Grab & Go is our fastest way to shop. Order ahead online, choose Grab & Go at checkout, and your order is usually ready in about 5 minutes. Bring your ID, follow the Grab & Go signs, pay and go.
How does Bloom Rewards work?
Bloom Rewards is free to join and works at every Bloom. You get 200 points when you sign up and 1 point for every $1 you spend, and 100 points are worth $5. In Ohio, points go toward accessories; in Maryland, they go toward cannabis products.
Where are Bloom dispensaries located?
Bloom has seven dispensaries in Ohio — Akron, Athens, Massillon, Painesville, Seven Mile, South Columbus and West Columbus — and one in Germantown, Maryland. A North Columbus store is on the way.
Are Bloom products lab-tested?
Yes. Everything on our shelves comes from state-licensed producers and is lab-tested under Ohio or Maryland program rules, so you know what you are buying.
